Build A Keyboard Codes (October 2026)

Three code strings exist for Build A Keyboard! and all three are listed as working by every active tracker checked on October 10, 2026: ILOVEKEYCAPS, DUMPLINGCRATE, and THANK5K. Codes are uppercase, case-sensitive, and work once per account.

None of the three strings is posted by the official Roblox description — they were distributed through the game's Discord and like-milestone celebrations, which is why every list on the internet carries the same three codes. The rewards below are tracker-reported; the conflicting Dumpling Crate wording is shown both ways instead of averaged.

Working codes

Codes to redeem in Build A Keyboard

Tracker status as of 2026-10-10. Redeem soon — the game shipped updates on September 20 and October 10, 2026, and a code can be retired without notice.

ILOVEKEYCAPSWorking (tracker-listed)

2x Money for 5 minutes

The game's launch-attention code. Every tracker checked lists the same reward: a temporary x2 cash multiplier. Spend it while actively playing — a five-minute boost does nothing while you are idle in the menu.

DUMPLINGCRATEWorking (tracker-listed)

Dumpling Box (most trackers) / 2 Dumpling Crates (Roblox Den)

Reward wording differs between trackers: five list a Dumpling Box, while Roblox Den lists 2 Dumpling Crates. The box or crate itself is a reward container — its exact contents are not publicly documented by any source we checked.

THANK5KWorking (tracker-listed)

500 XP

A 5,000-likes thank-you code per the name and the fan-tracker milestone reading. All six trackers list it as 500 XP, which speeds leveling and upgrades.

Redeem steps

How to redeem Build A Keyboard codes

The redemption box hides inside the Settings window — the single most common reason players report codes as broken is not finding it.

  1. 1. Launch Build A Keyboard! from the official Roblox page and wait for your keyboard plot to load.
  2. 2. Click the gear/Settings icon in the top-left corner of the screen.
  3. 3. Scroll inside the Settings window to the Enter Code box.
  4. 4. Paste the code exactly — codes are uppercase, case-sensitive, and reject stray spaces.
  5. 5. Press the Redeem button. Rewards apply immediately; each code works once per account.
Next code watch

The 50,000-like code that never surfaced

Player. One (July 14, 2026) reported that the developer planned a new code once the game reached 50,000 likes.

Roblox's votes API reported 91,798 up-votes on 2026-10-10, so the 50,000-like threshold is far past. No tracker checked on 2026-10-10 (including a live Roblox Den list from Oct 9 showing exactly three active codes, and game.guide's Oct 7 check) names a fourth code, and the official game description posts no code strings. We therefore list no 50K-milestone code: a promised code is not a code string.

The buildakeyboardwiki.wiki fan tracker (guides dated July 14, 2026) reads the strings as milestone codes: ILOVEKEYCAPS around 500 likes, DUMPLINGCRATE around 1,500 likes, THANK5K around 5,000 likes. That is a community reading, useful for predicting when the next milestone code would drop, not an official statement.

Timing

When the next Build A Keyboard code will drop

BAKGAME has announced no schedule. The pattern documented by Try Hard Guides and this game's own short history points at four triggers:

Major game updates

The most common release window; Try Hard Guides documents this pattern.

Milestones and events

Like-goal codes (THANK5K fits the 5,000-like pattern) and holiday events.

Community goals

Visit and favorite goals are candidates per the same tracker.

Outage compensation

Apology codes after server problems — plausible here, since the official description warns the new game may have bugs.

With 91,798 likes recorded on October 10, the obvious next community goals are 100,000 likes and 10M visits — if a milestone code follows the THANK5K pattern, those are the dates to recheck this page. Want to see how much reward evidence is actually verified? The Build A Keyboard tier list holds every claim to the same dated-evidence standard, so you can check the keycap evidence yourself instead of trusting a decorated table.

Troubleshooting

Why a Build A Keyboard code may not work

Typing errors

Codes are uppercase and case-sensitive. Paste instead of typing, and strip leading or trailing spaces — urgametips specifically documents stray spaces as the top failure.

Already redeemed

Each code works once per account. A code that worked before and fails now is usually spent, not expired.

Old server version

After an update, old servers can reject codes. Leave and rejoin from the official game page to land on a fresh server, then retry once.

Status history

The August expired-code scare, resolved

An earlier site check on August 8, 2026 recorded Game.Guide listing all three strings as expired while other guides listed them as active. Five later tracker refreshes (September 2026) plus the October checks list all three as working, so the current weight of evidence is working — redeem soon anyway, because the game's updates (September 20 and October 10, 2026) could retire them at any time.

Expired codes

No expired Build A Keyboard codes exist yet

GameRant, Beebom, Player. One, Try Hard Guides, urgametips, and Roblox Den all state that no code has expired as of their latest updates. When a string dies, it will be moved here with the tracker and date that recorded it — this page does not delete dead codes, it dates them.

One checked list

Codes for Build A Keyboard

Build A Keyboard current codes, code Build A Keyboard, codes Build A Keyboard, codes for Build A Keyboard, and codes in Build A Keyboard all refer to this same checked list of three strings. There is no separate code page, no hidden list, and no code generator — anything claiming otherwise is guessing.
